Jeffree Star is dropping a new palette, “Androgyny”
You already know Jeffree Star Cosmetics for their iconic liquid lipsticks, uniquely pigmented powder highlighters and their Beauty Killer Eyeshadow Palette. This fall, the cruelty-free brand is expanding their product line to include traditional bullet lipsticks and a new eyeshadow palette. The lipstick line, Lip Ammunition, will first be available in 10 shades and a satin finish. Lip Ammunition will be available for purchase on Sept.30, and will retail for $18. There will also be a follow-up to the Beauty Killer Eyeshadow Palette, the Androgyny palette. While a release date has not been confirmed, Jeffree Star confirmed via Twitter that the palette will be dropping sometime this fall.
Too Faced and Kat Von D founders are collaborating on a palette that will come out in December
Founder and CEO of Kat Von D Beauty, Kat Von D, and Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Too Faced Beauty, Jerrod Blandino, are teaming up to create a one-of-a-kind, limited-edition palette. The Better Together Collaboration will feature a heart-shaped eyeshadow palette that will feature six brand-new shades from each brand. The palette comes with Kat Von D’s cult-classic Tattoo Liner in Trooper, Too Faced’s famous Better Than Sex Mascara. Several trial-sized products will also be available for purchase, including Too Faced’s Love Flush Blush, Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and Studded Kiss Lipstick. A makeup bag that can hold all of your goodies will also be for sale with the collection, one side a glittery cotton candy hue and the other a faux leather pattern. The vegan-friendly palette will be released exclusively to Sephora on Dec. 26.
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Palette is dropping on Sept. 18
Urban Decay’s Naked Eyeshadow Palettes are a cult-classic, often considered a staple in any beauty junkie’s collection. The collection currently consists of four palettes, each including 12 unique shades and an eyeshadow brush. However, the quadruplets are about to get a sister. Urban Decay will be launching the fifth Naked palette on Sept. 18, the Naked Ultimate Basics. The palette will be square in design as opposed to the traditional rectangular packaging of past Naked palettes, and will be the first palette in the collection to feature exclusively matte shades. Priced at $54, this palette will be flying off the shelves.
MAC Selena line is dropping in October
Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, the celebrated Tejana singer, was famous for her creative handmade stage outfits and signature bold red lip. The beauty brand MAC will be releasing a collection to honor the late singer. The limited-edition Selena collection will include three lipsticks, a contour and blush compact, eyeliner, mascara, an online-exclusive lip gloss and five eyeshadow shades that will all be named after Selena’s songs. The packaging for the collection is Selena’s favorite shade of purple. The line will debut in Selena’s hometown, Corpus Christi, Texas this October.
Sugarpill x KimChi is dropping a new liquid lipstick on Sept. 21
Sugarpill is an indie-beauty brand renowned for their broad selection of single eyeshadows and unique limited-edition palettes. Kim Chi is a Chicago-based drag queen known for her unique sense of style. She cites high-fashion and anime as inspirations for her look. The brand has worked with Kim Chi in the past, creating the one-of-a-kind bold Electric Teal eyeshadow shade. Now the two are pairing up yet again to produce a liquid lipstick, Kim Chi Liquid Lip Color. The liquid lipstick is a maude lavender shade that will come in a matte finish and is donut scented. The product will debut on Sept. 21 on the SugarPill website.
