Hillary Clinton Wins Mock Election

Hillary+Clinton+Wins+Mock+Election

Democrat Hillary Clinton alongside runningmate Tim Kaine has won the Upper School mock election with 73.4% of the vote. Republican Donald Trump and Mike Pence were slated in second with 15.88%, followed by third party candidates Gary Johnson with William Weld (6.13%), Jill Stein with Ajamu Baraka (2.23%) and Evan McMullin with Mindy Finn (2.23%).

Hosted by student council on Nov. 8, general election day, voting for the mock election took place before school, during advisory and after school.  Votes were counted through three laptops set up in the Upper School conference room, adorned with striped patriotic drapes and voting signs. Junior Clare Beck helped hand out I Voted! stickers.
