The Hockaday Student Council hosted a “Stone Age” themed mixer last Saturday. Students attended sporting a variety of costumes, dressing as cave people, dinosaurs, Flintstones, and in tribal/animal print themes. The local celebrity DJ Spencer de Bruno remixed and added dubstep to popular songs, keeping the dance floor lively. While students did enjoy snow cones, Canes fried chicken was not present due to the health concern of leaving the fried chicken out in the heat for an extending time. Minor glitches aside, many students from Hockaday, St. Marks, and Cistercian enjoyed a night of dancing, eating, and socializing.
