Entire School Unites at Centennial Convocation

Entire School Unites at Centennial Convocation

Hockadaisies, Pre-K-12, united at the All-School Centennial Convocation Wednesday morning. Sept. 25 marks the day Miss Ela Hockaday founded the school 100 years ago in 1913.

After students processed onto Graduation Terrace, Eugene McDermott Headmistress Kim Wargo welcomed everyone to the 100th birthday of Hockaday. Activities included a fashion show featuring students wearing uniforms from the past 100 years, followed by the fourth-graders’ performance of Miss Hockaday’s favorite Indian Dance Club routine exercise and rounds of “Happy Birthday” by the faculty, staff and students.
