Staying Hydrated in Texas’ Fall

Staying+Hydrated+in+Texas%E2%80%99+Fall

I live in Texas and anyone that lives in Texas knows that the weather is always changing. As of yesterday, fall has officially started which means cold weather, the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte and the return of the State Fair of Texas!

However, colder weather brings dry skin and lips. Since the AM recommends these products to keep you hydrated!

CLEANSERS

  1. Fresh – Soy Face Cleanser

This cleanser is good for all types of skin: normal, oily, combination, dry and sensitive. It is especially great for dry skin in the fall. The 1.7 oz is $15.

  1. Simple – Cleansing Micellar Water

If you’re looking for an inexpensive cleanser, this cleanser by Simple is only $7.99 and very gentle on the skin. It instantly hydrates the skin as well as removing makeup and dirt and unclogging pores.

MOISTURIZERS

  1. First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration

Although this moisturizer is $30, you get bang for your buck. This moisturizer is certain to hydrate very dry skin. You can use this moisturizer head to toe.

  1. Clinique – Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer

Moisturizing is very important, however, protecting your skin from harmful sun rays is also key to healthy, bright skin. This moisturizer with SPF 20, while more expensive at $48.50, brightens and clarifies skin.

  1. Origins – Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream

With more test and more papers, you might find yourself staying up late. To avoid or help under-eye circles, this $30 eye cream uses coffee beans to instantly reduce dark circles and moisturize the skin.

  1. Rosebud Perfume Co. – Rosebud Salve in a Tube

Skin isn’t the only thing that becomes dry in the fall. With this $6 lip balm, you’re certain to keep your lips soothed and moisturized. Additionally, its aroma of rose is very pleasing.

BODY

  1. Aveeno – Daily Moisturizing Lotion

This lotion by Aveeno is both moisturizing and very affordable at $6.89. It leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and healthy-looking.

  1. L’Occitane – Hand Creams

If your hands are especially dry during the fall season, L’Occitane offers a variety of hand creams from shea butter to lavender in both travel and standard size for $12.

  1. Soap & Glory – Heel Genius

However, if it’s your feet that are rough, use this $10 foot cream that is sure to rejuvenate dry feet overnight.

EXTRA

  1. GLAMGLOW – THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment

Although this mask is quite expensive ($22 for 0.5 oz), it certainly does the trick by delivering instant moisture and calming the skin.

  1. Yes To Coconut – Ultra Hydrating Paper Mask

This very inexpensive $2.99 mask will keep your skin smooth and hydrated. You can pick this up at your local Target.

  1. The Body Shop – Nutriganics Drops of Youth

This $38 face serum provides hydration and leaves the skin looking smoother, fresher and healthier. To use, you gently massage two or three drops into the skin and allow to sink into the skin. Then, use a moisturizer.
